Ef pabbi hefdi ekki hjalpad mer og skriffinnskan verid svona fljotleg a Islandi vaeri eg enn thar ad bita i hid sura epli.
I can't stand the sight of misspelled Icelandic so I switch to English for a bit. Here I am at my brother's flat in Gipsy Hill, London, the birds are singing in his garden and the foxes are snooping around. He picked me up at Gipsy Hill station on his motorbike, but my luggage was a bit too much, though I had left the duty free bag with the brennivin and a carton of ciggies at Heathrow. Luckily I had stashed an extra carton of Camel non-filters in my camera bag. We had a few sips with his wife Caroline, and their friends last night before I drowsed away after the rough day. It's nice to spend a day amongst the polite crowds of England before entering the screaming madness that is Cairo. I haven't seen anything like it, I gather, I have been on the edge of the Arab and Muslim world, in Morocco, Mauritania, Niger, N-Nigeria and Turkey, but now I enter the eye of the storm. I better hurry back to Heathrow before I get myself into trouble again.
